A parched Crow on a branch high
Observes each move & sigh
Crows endlessly may next die
Quest intense, find life answer why?
High rise sun heat worth complain
Difficult food finding who explain?
Snake also just a small rat slain
Squirrel stealing, all must know man!
Oh what a long day, tiring too
Even small birds wanting boo
Eagle the Grand-Dad mighty true
Snapped my kill and starved me blue!
Dawn to dusk busy he was kept
Kids wailing, oh now she also wept!
He wondered on his life heft
Early morning resolves, even harder to act!
Early was the morning hours vee
A holy saint sat under same tree
Deep Meditating in silence was he
Glowing aura emanating one could see!
The Crow now could not desist
Wanted this frail person assist
Oh let me know what help consist
Seeing you alone, I can't resist!
Enchanting Saint saw this Crow
Opened one eye with a curious brow!
What can be expected from a lassitude crow
Aimless wonders but what a lasting attitude grow!
Hearty thanks Saint so speak
Grateful for the help, how you a bit weak?
Just sit with me & let a wide smile sneak
In a silent company, lets our soul tweak!
Agreed, Crow came down for the conquest
Tired neck straightening, tried it's best!
Opened mouth but couldn’t speak serene guest
No worries & idle, how could a life waste?
Crow now asked for a time out
He would consult friends for a doubt
Advise of the family would be sought
Silence & smile would be always a sense brought!
Flew, he contemplated alone on tree top
In silence he leaped & a deep smile hop
Distant roosting calling “Koww” dop
To what to say yes and what nop!
With raising sun rays, he a lesson life learned
Be a silent observer & don’t get burned!
Saint had nothing but a deep smile earned
With this insight his happiness returned!
Seeing a changed crow, smiled Saint
Crow now silent whole day went!
World was lighter no wail & rent
Why to worry, live life without dent!
Inner Saint & or Outer Crow!
